Randall's Island Parks Alliance and the adidas Grand Prix are pleased to offer spectators of the adidas Grand Prix alternative transportation and parking options for the adidas Grand Prix Mass Transit is the most efficient way to reach the island and is STRONGLY encouraged. Mass Transit

For Mass Transit service to the adidas Grand Prix you can take the M35 bus from 125th Street and Lexington Avenue.

• Take the 4, 5 or 6 train or Metro-North to 125th St. Exit the station to transfer upstairs to the M35 Bus stop which is located at the corner of 125th St. and Lexington Ave. The ride to Randall's Island is 5-7 minutes each way, and drops off right in front of Icahn Stadium.

• Pick up after the event will take place on the main road outside of Icahn Stadium, on the north side of the venue -- this is nearer the stadium and NOT the standard M35 bus stop.

• The fare to Randall's Island and back is $2.75 each way. Exact change or a Metro Card will be required.

• The buses will depart Randall's Island as needed and will go directly back to the stop at 125th Street and Lexington. For more information, log onto www.mta.info.

Walk to Randall's Island? Yes!

Given that this is a track meet, you might be interested in getting to Icahn Stadium on foot. It may seem inadvisable to walk or bike to an island, but the 103rd Street Footbridge conveniently connects Manhattan to Randall's Island. The bridge is open to pedestrians and cyclists 24 hours a day and is accessible at the East River Esplanade at 103rd Street and FDR Drive. Getting there is easy via the 4/6 train to 103rd Street or by taking the M15 bus to either 100th or 102nd Street. On Randall's Island, the ridge is accessible at the southwest corner of the island. Once off the bridge, it's only a 3/4mi walk along the Harlem River Pathway to Icahn Stadium.

Pedestrian ramps also connect Randall's Island to the RFK Triboro Bridge:
Manhattan: 125th Street and 2nd Avenue to just behind the Golf Center
Bronx: Cypress Avenue and Bruckner Boulevard to the Bronx Shore Fields
Queens: Hoyt Avenue and 28th Street, adjacent to the Astoria Boulevard N/W station, to mid-Island, adjacent to the Central Fields
